"The Banshees of Inisherin" lidera o London Critics’ Circle Film Awards 2022, com direito a dupla indicação para Colin Farrell!

As nomeações para o 43º London Critics’ Circle Film Awards acabaram de sair!

O London Critics’ Circle Film é votado pela organização de crítica mais antiga e de maior prestígio do Reino Unido, que possui 140 membros.

O longa "The Banshees of Inisherin" lidera a premiação com 9 indicações, com direito a dupla indicação para Colin e ainda com duas vagas ocupadas em Ator Coadjuvante (Barry Keoghan e Bredan Gleeson).

A premiação costuma ter um certo favoritismo por produções e artistas britânicos, o que explica algumas indicações, como Florench Pugh recebendo duas indicações por "O Milagre". Na verdade, o mais interessante de analisarmos são alguns dos esnobados que tivemos, e que estão fortes na temporada, como Viola Davis por "A Mulher Rei"; Michelle Williams esnobada assim como os atores de "The Fabelmans"; as atrizes coadjuvantes de "Tudo em Todo Lugar ao Mesmo Tempo".

Inclusive, alguns filmes foram completamente esnobados, o que podemos explicar com o fato de ainda não terem estreado em Londres. Mas tem filmes que estiveram inclusive fazendo estreia no Festival de Londres e mesmo assim ficaram de fora, como "Babylon", "A Mulher Rei", "She Said" e "Avatar: O Caminho da Água".

Ah, e Ana de Armas foi indicada a Melhor Atriz por "Blonde", será que ainda tem chances de chegar até o Oscar?
